As a member of our Insurance Business & Regulation team, Jim advises on insurance regulation and corporate, transactional, and other regulatory and compliance matters.  With over 25 years of experience, Jim serves insurance companies, health maintenance organizations and other managed care entities, dental and vision plans, third party administrators, and other regulated entities. Jim advises and represents clients on statutory and regulatory requirements as well as statutory accounting matters and business transactions, including:

  • Reinsurance transactions
  • Financing transactions (including Federal Home Loan Bank transactions)
  • Acquisitions
  • Mergers
  • Conversions
  • Reorganizations

Jim also assists insurance companies and other regulated entities with market conduct examinations, financial examinations, and other matters before insurance departments. Jim’s clients trust him to navigate the insurance industry’s ever-evolving regulatory complexities with confidence and strategic understanding.
