Darcy Costello

Darcy Costello joined the Firm’s Public Affairs Practice Group as a Public Affairs Specialist in 2025. She is a skilled communicator with years of experience in print and digital media.

Previously, Darcy worked at The Baltimore Sun and The (Louisville) Courier Journal, where she was part of a team that was recognized with a Peabody Award and as two-time Pulitzer Prize finalists. Her past journalism experience ranges across criminal justice, local and state politics, breaking news, and other beats.

Darcy received a journalism degree from the University of Maryland, College Park. She returned as an adjunct professor for the first time in early 2025 and remains committed to rooting for Terps men’s basketball.
