Maggie Friday

Don Davis and his Labrador, Maggie, have been a therapy dog team since May 2024.  They have visited over 3,000 people at hospitals, schools, and children’s reading programs at libraries.  The team visits Johns Hopkins Hospital at Bayview every Friday where they changed the name from “Purple Friday” to “Maggie Friday.”  There, Maggie is pet by patients, relatives, nurses, doctors (especially stressed residents), and visitors.  They meet regularly with cancer patients receiving chemo and radiation therapy at Hopkins and Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis.  All of these people benefit from talking to and sharing love with Maggie as a form of relaxation and an opportunity to momentarily forget the stresses they are facing in their daily lives. The firm is extremely proud of the contributions Don and Maggie are making in the community!
