Joshua Feldmark

As a Principal Non-Attorney in both the Firm’s Government Relations Practice Group and Public Affairs Practice Group Joshua Feldmark works at the intersection of lobbying and community-based communications and advocacy.

Joshua previously served as Senior Vice President at CI Renewables, where his portfolio included government affairs, public policy, and public sector solar purchasing. Joshua also spent twelve years as Director of Howard County’s Office of Sustainability. As the Office’s founding Director, he led the County’s efforts in renewable energy, energy efficiency, water quality, land preservation and conservation, and food and agricultural policy.

Josh’s prior work includes serving as Executive Director of three nonprofit organizations: cycling education and advocacy organization Bike Maryland, progressive digital communications platform Our Maryland, and environmental advocacy organization EnviroCitizen. He has served as Board Chair for Howard EcoWorks and the Columbia Association, a member of the Governor’s Commission on Environmental Justice and Sustainable Communities, and Treasurer for the Center for Diversity and the Environment.

Joshua graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Ecology from Rutgers University and summa cum laude with a degree in Environmental Law from Vermont Law School.
