Michelle R. Sawyer is an associate in the Chestertown office of Funk & Bolton, P.A. and is a member of the firm's Local Government Practice Group.
Ms. Sawyer joined Funk & Bolton in the summer of 2007 as a law clerk, and continued to clerk with the firm through her last year of law school. At the University of Baltimore School of Law, Ms. Sawyer spent two years as a member of the Labor Law Moot Court Team (2007-2008). She also received certification in mediation and negotiation skills from the University of Baltimore School of Law.
Prior to joining Funk & Bolton, Ms. Sawyer, an Ocean City, Maryland native, worked as a law clerk at the law offices of Ayers, Jenkins, Gordy & Almand, P.A. in Ocean City. She also spent summers before entering law school interning at the law offices of Widdowson & Dashiell, P.A. in Salisbury, Maryland and at the Circuit Court in Worcester County, Maryland.
Ms. Sawyer is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
